SteriPEN® ULTRA has a tapered end to fit snugly into bottled water containers--added insurance when drinking bottled water from unknown sources. ULTRA is powered by 4 AA lithium batteries (not incl.). Each set of batteries will purify 200 glasses of water (16 oz.).  UV lamp provides 3,000 treatments.
